golden gate bridge roadwork southbound 101 through mill valley strawberry area and lower sausalito side of the waldo grade headed southbound just right lane blocked. northbound embarcadero closed tonight for roadwork at 9:00 until 5 a.m. tomorrow morning. our top story, frightening overnight accident, car flies off an overpass on i-80 and flips on to the freeway in contra costa county in pinole on appian way. this picture sent by the fire department. the dodge ended up on its roof, going southbound on appian way when it hit a concrete guard rail off the overpass and landed on its roof on westbound 80. the car blocked two lanes of traffic. the 20-year-old driver and 21-year-old passenger were able to get out safely. the cause is under investigation. the scene is now clear.

back at the bargaining take this morning. raley's and union refs will resume negotiations. amy hollyfield is live at the picket line. >> reporter: good news they are going back to the table. even at 5:30 in the morning the picket line continues, a small group making their statement in front of raley's. their union said it is not going to let its guard down this is a small group we have video during the daytime when the crowd is larger and more active many union officials believe their picket lines have diverted customers to other stores and forcing the company to listen and consider their demands. the strike involves 7,000 workers, it started last sunday, this has been going on for over a week, raley's has been negotiating with its

workers for 15 months. last week made its last bet final offer, members didn't like it and decided to strike. the offer included a two year wage freeze. raley's says it needs to cut costs, saying it is in a fiercely competitive market stalemate happened. now both sides say they are going to come back to the table which could be seen as a good sign the hope is they can reach agreement. we'll keep you posted. amy hollyfield, abc7 news. 4:33. there are pickets line at hostess plants nationwide including one in oakland. thousands on strike three days after the company imposed a contract that would cut wages by 8%. workers in oakland and sacramento are among those who walked off the job. hostess says products are still being made and shipped for now. the company employs 1800 workers in california.

hostess filed for bankruptcy in january. president obama inviting business and labor leaders to the white house this week or talks on the so-called fiscal cliff. nancy pelosi in san francisco for a veterans day event yesterday is returning to capitol hill to push a deal backed by the president to avoid that fiscal cliff with tax hikes on wealthier households, republicans have already started digging in. >> it will slow down our ability to create the jobs that everyone says they want. >> we have a deficit we have to deal with. we have to do it with growth, creation of job, cuts, we all know that. also with revenue. >> if a deal with congress is not reached by year's end scheduled budget cuts will be imposed. 400,000 government jobs tied to defense could be slashed. another 400,000 other jobs would be he ed.

police in union city investigating death of a man found in a trash bin a woman discovered the injured man while taking out her garbage yesterday morning. she called authorities who rushed him to the hospital, where he died. police are persuing active leads and would like anyone with information to call union city police. gilroy family grieving the death of their dog after a pit bull barged into their house and attacked the 67-year-old poodle. the pit -- atack their 6-year-old poodle. >> just this much and the dog nuzzled its head through. >> reporter: the 11-year-old opened the door to let her 2-year-old brother in the house. little did she know a pit bull she had never seen before was at the door too, eager to get in. >> i was trying to close the door the dog pushed it and i slammed it against here. >> reporter: her little
